Learning Support Worker, Oxford

£8 per hour plus holiday pay

Learning Support Workers Wanted for temporary work supporting people with learning disabilities and autism in special education.

Various shifts and times available. Full time or part time work.

The role involves assisting in the classroom as well as providing care and support, taking part in activities and working with the teaching staff. Challenging behaviour can sometimes be a factor also.A key aspect of the role is encouraging and supporting students to enable them to get as much as they can from their learning. This role could involve group work or 1:1 support.

Applicants will need to be trained and experienced in learning support or care and support work, ideally with experience of working with learning disabilities and autism in an education setting.
