    INVESTIGATION & ADVICE OFFICER
    (6 Month cover for Maternity leave) This post would suit a candidate who is newly qualified in Social Work.
    This role will include working as a member of the Investigation and Advice team provding advice and support to children, young people, adults and other professionals.
    To participate in cross functional project groups within the office contributing an investigation and advice perspective on the outcome of the project.
    To participate in case investigations.
    The candidate needs to be a good listener, be able to advise and assist and advocate for individual children promoting and safeguarding their rights and welfare,
    To act as a team member in orginisation projects, taking direction from the project manager.
    The candidate must also be able to maintain accurate records of all investigations, liaise and mediate with public bodies and private individuals.
    The successful candidate would need a degree or professional level qualification in the social care proffession or equivalent experience.
    Written and oral skills, IT and numerate literate.
    The candidate has to have a confident knowledge of the welsh language although support will be given.
