Support Worker for Sheltered Housing Scheme
We are currently looking for a Support Worker to work in a Sheltered Housing Scheme for adults over 55.
The role is mainly to support the Scheme Manager in the day to day management of the scheme and with the preparation of support plans. This will involve delivering a range of support services to residents to enable them to maintain or increase their independence in their own homes.
The successful applicant will also help organise and assist with social activities which will include the servicing of the bar and playing bingo.
It is essential that the applicant has experience of working in support services, understands the needs of older people and the ability to keep calm in sometimes fraught situations.
