Support Workers required in the Reading area for a temporary vacancies, specialising in supporting people with a background of mental health problems.
The role involves working with clients who may have a background of criminal behaviour, usually linked to a substance and alcohol misuse problem, or adults moving from high level support mental health units to a more independent living scheme.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with people with substance misuse and mental health problems with basic office and admin skills. Training in drug awareness and housing issues would also be an advantageous.
This position requires an enhanced criminal record check to be carried out.
